Take 2: Facing Those We Have Wronged
The last time Jacob saw Esau, Esau threatened to kill him. Even though many years have passed, Jacob is scared that Esau will still want to hurt him. All he knows is that Esau is coming in his direction with 400 men. Jacob is so scared, he divides his family into two camps so that if Esau attacks one camp, the other will remain safe. Jacob wants to live peacefully with Esau.
